I took the front end off the salvaged Mitsubishi iMiEV.
This is what it looks like.
The bumper is dented, but the radiator and other components are fine. It looks like it’s just bent metal that needs to be repaired or replaced.
If anyone knows where to get a replacement bumper cover from, please let me know!

When watching your long video, I found myself wondering about an imiev powered tractor.
I’d imagine there would be many drawbacks to this idea but would love to hear your thoughts on it.
I think the advantages and disadvantages of using an AC motor from a Mitsubishi iMiEV would be nearly identical to using one from a Nissan Leaf. The advantage of the Leaf motor is that there are a LOT more of them out there, and there are off-the-shelf solutions for using CANBUS to control the motor and inverter. Using the motor and inverter from an iMiEV would take some clever reverse engineering.
