This time, he’s testing out the Open Source AC motor controller. In this video he’s testing the IGBT version of the controller. He also shows you the PCB for the MOSFET-based version.
AC motors are almost exclusively what factory-built electric cars use. They are amazingly low maintenance. But, controlling them is beyond the Average Joe with only a simple electronics background. The Open ReVolt AC controller will bring AC power to the people!
