Electric Cars with Ed Begley, Jr.

by Ben N on June 4, 2013

Whew! This was a whirlwind weekend!

Between traveling to the Mother Earth Fair, giving presentations, drag racing electric cars, and dodging giant slugs, I sure wished I had just a little more time.

Which is why I was glad that I spotted Ed Begley, Jr. BEFORE the start of the Fair on Sunday morning. He was at the Envirolet booth, and wasn’t too busy, so I thought, “What the heck, why don’t I just walk right up to him and ASK if he wants to do an interview with me about electric cars!?”

So I did. Being the nice guy that he is, he quickly agreed to spend a few minutes chatting on camera with me about electric cars, off-peak charging, and renewable fuels.

Enjoy the video, and look forward to more videos coming soon that I shot at the fair, including interviews with electric car owners (one while driving in a Mitsubishi i-MiEV) and even a video test-ride of an electric motorcycle!

A big thank you to Ed Begley, Jr. for letting me film him. If you ever get a chance to see Ed speak in person, you don’t want to miss it! He’s the real deal!

Take care,

-Ben

Thanks for all your sharing of information and explaining things during the show!! I always look to pickup valuable info that I need to design my new engine. Your so well versed at this Ben its always fun to see you and your projects and I always attend at least one of your presentations!! You make it look so easy! I hope that this helps and inspires others to bring out their creativity and try things and experiment on their own. See you in 2014 and hopefully I will have at least a prototype engine on display.
Kevin
